An international retail professional is responsible for sales, profit, and customer care. Such jobs require thorough knowledge of products in the retail establishment. An international retail professional provides an attractive display of merchandise to the customers, demonstrating and advising them on the products and convincing them to purchase the same. An international retail professional is required to deal with international customer queries and complaints effectively. Such jobs also require keeping an account of the quantity of merchandise on the floor and preparing requisition to replenish them when needed. An international retail professional should be well aware of the products which are in vogue among customers.
An international retail professional job requires a bachelor's degree and very good communication skills. Prior experience working in a retail outlet is an advantage. An international retail professional should be presentable and should be prepared to work in shifts. Fluency in English, a local language, and a foreign language may be required.
