The Merchandising Manager is responsible for achieving sales, gross margin and profit goals through the selection, pricing and promotion of merchandise through a team of Merchandisers.Position Details
This is a full time permanent
position.The starting salary will be annual base salary plus mileage reimbursement. Bonus eligible.We have a local branch located in Austin, TX.

Manage a team of Merchandisers or Merchandising Supervisors.
Conduct on the job orientation and training for all new Merchandisers.
Provide individual and group training sessions to further develop Merchandisers.
Route Merchandisers for sales and deliveries to be cost-effective and maintain a high level of customer service.
Monitor retail pricing to maintain proper retails and competitive pricing.
Utilize appropriate merchandising and management techniques to maximize the company’s return on inventory investment and space in stores.
Develop and implement a strategy, analysis and appropriate reaction sales trend in order to maximize business.

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
3 years of merchandising experience
1 year of merchandising management/supervisory experience
